The Saluzzo plant is situated in the southeastern part of the town and it was the first district heating project implemented by the group, back in 2004.

The thermal capacity of the plant is exploited to the full and an increase in capacity is being studied, and will be implemented by installing a heat pump powered by the electricity produced by the cogenerators already installed.

Advantages of district heating

  • CO2 emissions avoided: 4,265 tonnes per year due to the shutdown of the old heating plants.

The Saluzzo plant
