Sellero

The cogeneration plant produces electricity and heat for residential use in the municipal district of Sellero, in the province of Brescia. The plant, which has been in operation since December 2012, is situated at an altitude of 476 m asl and is fired with biomass (virgin wood from the short chain). The electricity produced is sold to the grid, while the heat produced, that is, sanitary hot water, is distributed via the network to the municipal districts of Sellero Alta, Sellero Bassa (Novelle) and Cedegolo, with a total length of about 21 km.
