iCityLab 2018

Florence, 17th-18th october 2018

We are partners of the 2018 edition of iCityLab, the event - which takes place in Florence - that supports and promotes the development of smart and sustainable cities.

We are constantly engaged in tackling the great global challenges, such as the fight against climate change, access for all to energy or sustainable mobility - with the aim of contributing concretely to the evolution of an increasingly decarbonised, decentralized and digitized world.

Our solutions go straight to the future and take the form of new tools that revolutionize the way people live and imagine the territory, like Smart in the City, the solution that makes urban infrastructures increasingly digital and connected.

Smart in the City is based on Livin' proprietary hypervision platform - flexible and scalable - that allows a continuous exchange of data (and therefore interoperability) between the different physical infrastructures, even already present in a territory, making processes and urban life even more fluid, simple, safe.

Cities are a set of infrastructures that requires a real-time coordination between the different operators and the different services for better communication with people.

We have developed and implemented for the territory of Florence different projects aimed at improving the performance of technological and energy infrastructures and consequently services to the citizen.

  • Metropolitan City of Florence: we manage the heating, conditioning and Facility Management services on 114 properties. We have also implemented energy requalification and modernization of the system to optimize the performance of public assets.
  • University of Florence: together with the "La Specola" Museum, we contribute to the conservation of the assets guarded internally through a thermal power plant and a cooling system, both managed and controlled remotely thanks to a remote management system. This is a complex energy management as it must guarantee precise checks on the temperature and humidity of the environment, throughout the year and for 24 hours a day.
  • Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence: with an area of 50,000 m2 capable of hosting over 47,000 spectators, it is one of the most important Italian stadiums. We redevelop and manage all the technological and thermal systems of the offices and the playground where we have installed targeted heating systems in order to maintain a suitable constant temperature of 14 degrees in winter.
