ENGIE and Arval Italia (a BNP Paribas Group company leader in fleet rental and management), have signed an agreement for the start of an electric mobility service in a Charging as a Service mode.
The service represents a sustainable, innovative, and interely all-inclusive solution that, without any initial investment and with a single monthly fee, provides for vehicle’s long-term rental, solution’s design, charging points’ installation and maintenance and energy supply with 100% certified green energy.
To complete the offering, a monthly reporting system will enable detailed information about vehicles’ use and savings obtained both economically and in CO2 emitted into the atmosphere.
Grégoire Chové, General Director of Arval Italia, says:
Our challenge has always been to work towards the development of an increasingly sustainable mobility, and the partnership with ENGIE fits perfectly with this strategy. The market is more and more sensitive to these topics and our task is to provide reliable and effective answers, in this case leading to a service that will allow, with a single fee, to manage all aspects related to electric mobility. In this initial stage, the project will focus primarily on our local repair network partners who can offer the replacement vehicle service to drivers with Arval fleet vehicles.
Olivier Jacquier, CEO of ENGIE Italia, says:
The kick-off of the project made possible by the agreement reached with such a recognized player as Arval, is a further step towards environmental friendliness, where electric mobility represents an important strategic aspect. With Charging as a Service we guarantee a single, all-in-one product and service offering, personalized and turnkey, capable of generating significant economic savings and substantially reducing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
